2009  Calendar  Photos....a little sugar and a lot of spice . . .

We all know that a pin-up girl’s photos are only as good as the photographer behind the lens.  Over the last few years, I have had the opportunity and joy to work with very special photographers, who all generously donated their talents to this special project that supports our hospitalized Veterans.  ( I didn’t even have to twist their arms !)  They all liked the idea of helping our Veterans, and they all volunteered their time and extraordinary talents to help this pin-up girl put together three “Pin-Ups For Vets” calendars.  (Am I a lucky girl, or what !!!)

For the 2009  “Pin-Ups For Vets” calendar, I decided to offer up a “smorgasbord” - a visual feast that showcases the photography work of each of my three wonderful photographers !!!

I am only offering up the “first course” here in the gallery for you to see!   The “entrees” and “desserts”  are in the calendar for you to enjoy when you make your purchase.   And you can feel good knowing there are “no calories” - and the best part is that the proceeds once again go to support health care programs for our hospitalized Vets and recovering troops !  You will feel good knowing that you helped our brave heroes!  Thank you so much!

While you are enjoying the calendar photos here in the 2007, 2008, and 2009 "Pin-Ups For Vets" gallery, please remember our troops in the field who would also like to enjoy some calendars to help boost morale and to get them through some very difficult and lonesome times far away from home.  The "Pin-Ups For Vets" calendars have been "a little bit of home" for them, as they are deployed far from their own homes, families, and friends.   I have received many letters from the troops who tell me that the calendar has provided a wonderful morale boost for them. Please look into your heart and order some calendars for our brave heroes presently deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Many of them have been called up for 2nd and 3rd deployments, and they miss home so much.   I am currently receiving e-mails from military units who are asking for donated calendars.  Thank you for going over to the "Order Now" page to donate one or more calendars for our brave heroes to help fill these heart-felt requests. Your calendar gifts, with personal messages of appreciation, mean so much to our troops !  Thank you all so much for helping to bring some smiles to our brave heroes who are currently serving our country.  The proceeds from your calendar orders will go to support health care programs for our hospitalized Vets and recovering troops !
