The 2008 "Pin-Ups For Vets" calendar project received a great helping hand from several very caring private citizens and business owners. I am so very grateful to each and every one of them for their sponsorship and their generous contributions to the calendar fundraiser project. It was a pleasure to work with all of them, and I encourage everyone to do business with them. My sincerest thanks goes to:

MARK E. MENCHACA, photographer/owner of Velvet Moon Productions and photo session director, for creating the magic in the photos in this year's calendar. Mark is the hardest working and most patient photographer I know. Please visit: www.VelvetMoonProductions.com

CHERYL EVANS, owner of Evans & Co. Contemporary Hair Color and Design Salon, for her kind donation to the project, and to her very talented stylists and artistic directors, JENNIFER RAMIREZ and CHRISTOPHER TRIANA for their wonderful enthusiasm. Their creative hairstyles and make-up and style direction added so much to the photos. They are a pleasure to work with and the best at what they do. A special thanks to salon manager, ROSANNA GUSTAFSON, who helped with so many of the details and much of the scheduling, and to receptionist AMITY HUIZINGA, who also helped with booking appointments. Please visit: www.evansandcompanyhair.com

NICOLE BEALE, graphic artist / owner of Riveted Designs, whose wonderful creative design ideas and artistic input add so much to the calendar's appeal. This is the second year that Nicole has designed the "Pin-Ups For Vets" calendar. I am so appreciative of the many hours she has given to the project. Please visit: www.riveted.biz

JOEL SCHLARB, owner of Progressive Design, who is the webmaster of the www.PinUpsForVets.com website. Contact Joel at Joel@mountaininfo.com and have him design a great website for you!

JANET COSGROVE, owner of the Morey Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn, who opened up her beautiful historic home that provided the gorgeous backdrops for several of the calendar's photos. Morey Mansion Inn was voted "America's favorite Victorian home" and when you stay at this magnificent bed and breakfast inn, you will see why. Janet is a gracious hostess and will make your stay unforgettable!  Janet gives a lot back to her community, and I am so honored that she supported this project with a very generous donation. Please visit: www.moreymansion.com

KIMBERLY RIVERA, breeder of the adorable Yorkie puppies pictured in the calendar and on the Pin-Ups For Vets website. Her high standards in breeding and her great personality are two reasons to go to "My Precious Yorkies" when you want the best puppy that your money can buy.  Her sweet Yorky and Pomeranian puppies are featured in the gallery photos on this website and also in the music video.  Kimberly is a big supporter of the troops, and I am so appreciative of all her hard work during the photo shoot and also for her kind donation.  Please visit: www.mypreciousyorkies.com

MARK VAN SICKLE, owner of Proud Horse Stables, for his donation to support this calendar fundraiser project for our Veterans and for allowing me to do my photo shoot at his great ranch.  Thanks to  KRIS SCHLATTER, riding instructor, dressage trainer, and ranch manager, for helping to arrange the details of the photo shoot, and a big "thank you" to CAROLYN RAMIREZ and her beautiful quarter horse, K.D. ZIPPO MAID, for making my "cowgirl" photo shoot such a fun day for me. The loving and professional staff here make it a great place to board your horse or to come for riding lessons. DAN XU, manager of Betty's Hamburgers in Redlands, CA, who opened up his nostalgic restaurant and fired up the grills during my "waitress" photo shoot. Dining here is an experience and you will love the food and the jukebox, too!

KHYLIA CADILE, events and film manager, HANNAH CADILE, production assistant, and the March Field Air Museum volunteers in Riverside, California, who allowed me to have a great photo shoot with the majestic military planes at the historic museum. Step back in time and come visit this unique display and friendly staff. You'll learn a lot and be inspired by these awesome planes!  The museum staff is a great supporter of Veterans, and I thank them so much for their donation to support our hospitalized Veterans.  Please visit: www.marchfield.org

DOUG and LINDA HAMMER, private owners of the incredible firefighters' museum and beautiful fire engines, for giving me permission to photograph at their private fire station. Doug, a retired firefighter, and his wife, Linda, open their doors to many charitable causes, and they are a great couple to know! Special thanks to WIZARD, their handsome Dalmatian, who is one great "star" in front of the camera.

ROB MURRAY, the owner of the nostalgic country store backdrop and Flying Ace gas pumps that are seen in the calendar photos. Rob graciously allowed me to spend the morning photographing with his extensive collection of memorabilia. What a great collection to see---a real blast to the past!

JIM, an ex-navy pilot and retired commercial airline pilot, and his wife MARTHA from Arizona, for their very generous donation to help support this calendar project. They are truly special people whose kindness to our hospitalized Veterans and troops is so very appreciated.

ERNIE ROUSE, from Loma Linda, CA, for allowing me to photograph with his beautiful '56 T-Bird. Ernie was a talented computer programmer who worked on finding ways to improve computer systems for doctors and hospitals. Ernie lost his brave three year battle with cancer just a few short weeks after my photo shoot with his beautiful car. Thank you, Ernie, for providing your gorgeous white convertible automobile that is such a "show-stopper" and added so much to the photos. I know that day brought a lot of joy to you, to be able to participate in this project to help our hospitalized Veterans and to share your refurbished car with so many people. You considered our meeting as fate, since it turns out that your brother coincidentally works at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where his medical expertise helps heal our Wounded Warriors. Bless you, Ernie, for your wonderful giving spirit, and may you rest in peace.
